Sunny days has really meant uncomfortably hot afternoons spent trying to sleep in my room for night shifts. What to do when you are not feeling well? Sleep, read, tv/dvds, and search the internet. I have spent a lot of time continually looking for a place to buy, but without any success at all. The worst thing is that while waiting for a place to buy, I get more and more impatient; This inevitably leads to me wanting to buy another car or dropping everything and going travelling.
On another lighter note, my niece has grown so much and I absolutely adore her. The newest thing that has melted my heart? She is three years old, and had asked to phone our house. When my mother picked up the phone, she promptly asked for me and when she was told that I went to work, she tried to hang up the phone. LOL. I thought it was sweet, my mom was heartbroken.

busy summer ahead.
so i sat down and counted what trips i'm doing over the summer, and i cannot wait.
first i already went to vancouver, june is tennesse for car meet, july washington d.c, july/august algonquin camping. i know it's nothing big like last year, but it's all spread out nicely.
what i really miss about the summer is bbq and sitting around outside on the patio. who doesn't love a good bbq? who doesn't love going to a cottage and not having to think about your work or what people are doing at home? sometimes it is easy to look at how far you go on a vacation and say it's the most fun; for me it's completely different. it's getting to the destination that's most rewarding (if it's driving). we always rush to get there, but never stop halfway to look around us.
